Oh! What fun!

Although I do not think Chairman Meow can be called Chairman Meow any longer. Would it be psychologically damaging to change his name do you think?

Rory wrote the Mums and they have written several letters already. Ewan, will you please tell him to write them saying I am fine? I have tried this but they do not believe me. Aunt Melinda did, but then her letter was mostly asking why the Mum of the Cecelia variety was having a fit (as she put it).

What do merpeople like? Would water-proof thank you notes be alright?

Cecelia-mum says we should write thank-yous for anything that requires it, but I am not certain about the etiquette for daring rescues from agitated giant squid.

Only Bryony and I were playing catch and she dropped the ball and I was going to get it. And now it is gone for good I think although Bryony says she doesn't mind, which is good, as I don't think I could have gotten it back. The Squid might've eaten it and I don't know how you would get it back except to wait and digestive acid might make that very hard possibly.

Madam Pomfrey gave me a potion that made me warm, but she let me go back to the dorm. Bryony is very concerned.

Rory wanted me to stay in the Hospital Wing so he could fret more but I think he needs sleep as he has NEWTs soon and it is not good for him to fret. Ewan, you should make sure he doesn't fret.

It's not good. Or it is, 'cause forests need that, but it's not good that they spent so much time growing up up up and then they just end, and not in a way that's good or wonderful but that is terrible and probably painful.
